Why
do you need so much information from me?
Many factors make up your insurance rates for auto, home and
business insurance. Besides looking at loss history, we also
look at a “financial responsibility” score which
takes your credit history into account. We do not run a credit
report, we order an insurance score which automatically goes
into our rate quote.
Why
Is My Credit an Issue in Obtaining Insurance?
Studies conducted by the industry and by the State Department
of Insurance have concluded that ones personal credit
history and financial stability are good indicators of the
likleyhood someone will or will not turn in a claim.
Is
the information kept confidential? Absolutely.
We are in the relationship business protecting your assets
through a contract issued by our insurers. There is too much
on the line to do anything other than maintain our fiduciary
responsibility.
Why
Can’t I get a Quote Immediately? We
prefer to look at the data and respond back to you by phone.
The internet is making us all less sociable than ever before.
We are in the relationship business and that is how you build
relationships, face to face, voice to voice. Our prices are
great and we are a little more careful than some other volume
oriented insurers.
How Long Do Your Policies Last?
Our Auto policies are 6 months policies that automatically
renew until you tell us to stop. All other policies are annual
and will also renew until you choose not to.
Do
You Have Down Payment for Coverage? No. We
do not have a down payment. We simply collect the first months
premium and you are covered. You will get a bill every month
if you prefer to pay monthly. A $3 service fee is involved
each month but is waived for people who choose to pay via
EFT directly form their bank.
Does
My Rate Improve Over Time? Yes we do offer
a long term policy holder discount after you have been a client
of ours for over 3 years.
How
Do You Handle Claims? We have 24/7 claims
service with live people ready to help you when something
goes wrong.
